This wedding site is of my husband and I's wedding. We had such a blast, and everything went perfect. The only thing that went bad was Ray's grooms cake was an experimental cake with the bakers. He wanted a keg shaped cake, with all the embelishments of a real keg. They were hesitant at first to take on the challenge, but we're glad they accepted. The back of the cake's icing fell a little with the heat, but it looked natural. No one knew, and Ray turned out to love it even more. Once we told guests about it, they just said the keg drank itself dry. No one seemed to have cared, so neither did Ray.
Because we could not afford the big lavish wedding I had in mind, or at least we could save enough for the date we had choosen, we decided to have the ceremony and reception at the same location to cut down on cost. The hall already had all table and chairs, but the chairs were not what I wanted, so we added them to the rental list. Since the hall only had the tables we would use, we had to find everything else. It was a challenge to find what we wanted, for the best price, but we did.
Our overall wedding cost was only $7,000, which today, the average wedding cost is $15,000. That is less than half! I believe we did really great, and this is just an example of what Weddings by Emily can do for you!
